North County

With both coastal and inland areas, the North County region in San Diego is home to many neighborhoods including Encinitas, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Carlsbad, Escondido, San Marcos, and Rancho Santa Fe. Each town has its own vibe, most of which are very beachy. North County San Diego is picturesque, secluded, and slower paced than down south. The beaches are a highlight, but there is plenty more going on than just sun and sand.
